Pre-To Kill a Mockingbird Research Presentations and Essays

Here's a link to the presentation and essay assignment. It will tie in to our reading of To Kill a Mockingbird. (We had planned to do it after Warriors Don't Cry, but the labs were unavailable then.) Use the graphic organizer to keep track of your research. Warriors Don't Cry-60 years later
We'll be in the library lab from Friday, March 24 through Friday, March 31. Presentation will begin on Monday, April 3.

Work during FFA States Trip

3/15 Today we practiced writing thesis statements based on what you learned in thesis statement/topic sentences packet.

The assignment is to write five thesis statements, each on a different piece of literature (includes books, movies, music, plays). Be sure to turn this in when you return.

The next assignment is to write two thesis statements with three topic sentences for each one.

Period 7/8: Write 2 level 2 questions and 2 level 3 questions (individually, not as a group). Bring your questions with you on Monday for homework credit.
